Hi

I have Vista SP1 64bit as host, 4 Gb Ram and 500 Gb HD

I set up and run 5 VM with XP SP2, 10Gb dinamic HD each

4 VM running perfectly, after 7 days I started to receive DevATA_DISKFULL in one.

I have 90Gb free space on my host and each VM has assigned 384 Ram

These message appear after 15 min the VM start (aprox)

What's going on?
VB 2.0.6

Regards

There are two options. Either you are using FAT32 as a file system (though with Vista, I doubt it), or the VM reached it's disk limit. When you create a VM, you can set to how much space the VDI can be.

Yes, I am using FAT32 because I have Linux too and this is the share drive.

The HD in the VM has only 3.5 Gb of 10 Gb.

I don't have problem with other 4 VM, and I didn't have until 2 days ago.

FAT32 has a file limit of 4 GB. You can safely use NTFS on Linux. NTFS-3g is stable enough.
