Not passed Windows Logo test?

Post by Lateros »

When I try to install VirtualBox, I get a message from Windows, telling me that this program has not passed the Windows Logo test, or something to that effect, and that if installed, may cause permanent damage to my computer. Should I install it, anyway? Is this normal?

I run Windows XP 32-Bit Home with SP2.

I have. Unless I'm using the wrong keywords, I can't find anything. I searched "windows logo test." If you could give me a link, that would be appreciated.

It's normal that you get that message, because MS did not test, nor certify the device drivers supplied and used by VB.
