Guest additions slowing the system?

That says it all... I installed the guest additions today and it seems to reduce the performances. Just wondering if it is normal.

Well, that's a little bit hard to describe. I only noticed that the system's response is more sluggish since I installed the guest additions. Moving windows around is slower, everything is slower.

I guess one can say that you "feel" more than you are on a virtual machine.

Where are the Infos like Host, Guest, Version, Hardware, Guest Configuration?

Oh, I see.

Host is Windows Vista running on a T7200 2GHz with 2 Gb of RAM

Guest is Windows XP, running on VB 2.0.6

I tested the GA on VB 2.0.6 and VB 2.0.4 and I experiment the same lagginess.
