You can use imaging software like Acronis True Image to create an image and store it on a network share. Then you can restor that image on a physical drive.

There are also some other tools perhaps. Please use the search, either the one available on the forum, or google with a site filter (like this: vdi install to hard disk site:forums.virtualbox.org).
Read the Forum Posting Guide before opening a topic.
VirtualBox FAQ: Check this before asking questions.
Online User Manual: A must read if you want to know what we're talking about.
Howto: Install Linux Guest Additions
Howto: Use Shared Folders on Linux Guest
See the Tutorials and FAQ section at the top of the Forum for more guides.
Try searching the forums first with Google and add the site filter for this forum.
E.g. install guest additions site:forums.virtualbox.org

I've booted a live CD image(.iso) containing ghost in the VM and then ghosted installations from within the VM. Works like a charm. I eventually got lazy and now I just .rar the .vdi file when I install a new machine.
