loop through unknown usb device

Hi,

I'm running VirtualBox 2.0.4 on Windows Vista x64 (Service Pack 1) and trying to install an usb device in the guest for which no driver is available for the host (strictly speaking its about the terratec piranha dvb-t usb stick). Is that possible?

I tried to activate the stick it in the settings for the virtual machine but it either gives an error message (device not ready) or does nothing.
