Can't run Linux base guest like Debian and Ubuntu in Vista

VirtualBox 2.0.4 Vista host, can't run Debian and Ubuntu boot CD, Vista crash, please help me.

We don't have a crystal bol, so please note what you are doing, what settings you have set and what hardware you have. And note the exact error you get from the Host.

I use compaq presario CQ60-105TX,256MB NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GE
I create a virtual machine, and use Debian CD image boot virtual machine, after display

booting the kernel.

Vista crash, both keybroad and mouse input unavailability, just by the strong hand power off I can do.

Crashing how? What error do you get? If the system reboots, you need to turn of automatic system reboot upon failure. What CPU capabilities does your machine have (like AMD-v/VT-x) and did you enable that option in VB? What if you disable it?
