Network Adapters: Specifying

Post by kraze98nyc »

I have two internet connections via two ethernet adapters.

I would like my real machine to use one adapter and virtualbox to use the other adapter.

How can I set this up?

Thanks so much!

Use Host Interface Networking. Bridge the one internet interface (use a wired NIC, as wifi won't work) with the virtual interface you created. See the manual for more information on how to set it up. You don't need a specific IP on the Host, you can set any private address on it so the Host won't use that connection. Or just leave the gateway and DNS server entries.
