Version 32 or 64 ?

Hi

I want to try out Virtual Box as I'm following a series of articles in a French mag

But I've got doubts about which version to download

The reason is I have an AMD 64 processor but I'm running a Windows 32 version (with SP3)

The site says only to download the AMD 64 version if you're running Windows 64 while the mag says download the AMD 64 version if you have an AMD 64 processor

What do I do in my case please?

Its bundled to the Windows Version first.

Should I download the Windows version or the Windows AMD 64 version?

The Windows Version first. You have Windows 32, so you cant use the AMD 64 Version. For that you need at least XP 64 or Vista 64.
