USB flash drives won't connect on Win 11 guest Mint 22.2 Host
I run Linux Mint 22.2, and I had Windows 11 Pro as a guest, any USB flash drive will not connect to the Win 11 guest. It used to be you had the option to disconnect from host and attach to guest, why is that gone? Is this a broken version of Virtualbox? Version 7.1.8 r168469 (Qt6.4.2) The guest addition is installed, or was rather, I removed the guest Win 11 because it was pointless without USB support, now the mouse and keyboard worked fine, but nothing else USB.

Re: USB flash drives won't connect on Win 11 guest Mint 22.2 Host
When VirualBox is installed on a Linux Host it automaticaly creates a 'vboxusers' group. Has your 'User' on the Linux Host been added to the 'vboxusers' group? That is the initial step to gaining USB access in any guest VMs you create.
The VirtualBox User Guide has a fair amount of detail on the USB support features and reading that guidance should also help.
