Problems with version 7.1.24 and XP machines

Post by JUAN NOVELO »

I'm having a problem with the new version 7.1.24. After updating from 6.1.50, my Windows XP machines are experiencing extremely slow mouse wheel scrolling, with CPU usage reaching almost 100%.
This didn't happen with version 6.1.50.
Therefore, I uninstalled version 7.1.24 and reinstalled 6.1.50 (downgrading to the previous version), but the problem persists.
This issue doesn't occur on Windows 10 or 11 machines.

A 'zipped' copy of the Virtual Machine's VBox.log is required to check for any problems.

I'm sending the log, a comment that I think is important: the green turtle of terror (with a V) appears at the bottom, I already did all the steps to try to disable the hyper V services, but in the system information it continues to show that some hypervisor was detected.

Update: Following the steps of "Do a Google search for the following "Download Device Guard and Credential Guard hardware readiness tool ...", the green turtle finally disappeared and my life has returned to peace.
