Hey all,
I have a strange problem. When I first boot my host Linux desktop and start VirtualBox, I can also start my Windows 11 guest VM. Everything is fine.
But, after a few days/weeks, Winodows 11 no longer boots. The VM window opens but its just black, nothing happens.
I have to reboot my host Linux desktop, then I can boot Windows 11 again, but after a few days/weeks the same thing repeats, Windows 11 VMs are not bootable until I reboot my host.
Any suggestions please?
Thank you.
PS:
Linux guests always work fine.

Re: Windows 11 black screen, no boot
I found a workaround for this issue, when Windowz 11 opens a black screen and does not boot, I need to restart the vboxdrv service:
systemctl restart vboxdrv
systemctl restart vboxdrv
