Shared folders

Post by VikinJ7 »

I made a shared folder with Red Star OS but when I try to access it, it wants a password. Can you please tell me what's the password?

Check the documentation of the OS. There is nothing in VirtualBox which asks (or even needs) a password for a shared folder, so we can't help without you passing us more information.

There is no password facility in VirtualBox. Was the shared folder setup using the Guest Additions facility, or as a Network Share? If a Network share, then it is likely to be an Operating System request.

A screenshot of the password request should help to determine what is generating the message.
Edit: Klaus beat me to providing a response

I didn't beat anyone in ages, and have no plans of changing my approach to minimizing violence :)
