Installing macOS on VirtualBox
Installing macOS on VirtualBox
Hi everyone, this is the third time I've tried to install macOS with VirtualBox on Windows 11, and I keep getting stuck on the first boot screen. I'm attaching the .log file in case anyone can help.

Re: Installing macOS on VirtualBox
That's not entirely true, as mentioned in the blocked post:
On the other hand, technically there are also ways to run specific versions of OSX in Virtualbox. I suppose the restriction is more due to a corporate fear/agreement about the use of OSX virtualization outside of Apple host hardware, but there is no legal or technical impediment to VirtualBox running OSX.
The agreement refers to the actual hardware, not the software that virtualizes it. In fact, Apple's official website mentions that it's possible to virtualize OSX using KVM (qemu) from another apple machine. Therefore, KVM doesn't use Apple's virtualized hardware, but it's still permitted and recommended. This reinforces the fact that the hardware mentioned is from the main host, not the virtualization system. Therefore, there's no reason why VirtualBox can't legally virtualize OSX: developer.apple dot com/documentation/virtualization/installing-macos-on-a-virtual-machineMac OS is commercial, licensed software and contains both license and technical restrictions that limit its use to certain hardware and usage scenarios. You must understand and comply with these restrictions.
In particular, Apple prohibits the installation of Mac OS on non-Apple hardware.
These license restrictions are also enforced on a technical level. Mac OS verifies that it is running on Apple hardware. Most DVDs that accompany Apple hardware check for the exact model. These restrictions are not circumvented by Oracle VM VirtualBox and continue to apply.

Re: Installing macOS on VirtualBox
"In particular, Apple prohibits the installation of Mac OS on non-Apple hardware." means an MacOS VM cannot be on a non-Apple hardware. There is no point on pushing this any further. Any help you may get about this won't be coming from this forum.
