Suspect that you missed quite a bit in the registry (which is hard to do manually anyway - the MSI file in your error message must be there in some dark corner of the registry). There's a Microsoft tool for cleaning broken stuff from the MSI installer, called "Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter". Download it and use it to remove the leftovers of the previous install, then the new install shouldn't ask for no longer existing files.

That should resolve the issue for the new install
