Using VirtualBox on School Network

Hey Forum!
I´m working now since over a year with virtualbox and it is really nice to see how it becomes better and better from build build and i think it is really faster than the also free VirtualPC from M$ and so i use it to test new software installations and so on.
Last week i was at my old school and they would like to use a software like virtualbox to enable multiple operating systems on there school network which has XP hosts.
Because they want to use Windows and Linux, i think virtualbox would be great. The only thing i´m not sure is the licence question: Is virtualbox free for schools? I think so, but what if we want to use the exisiting Windows Network with acticve directory to deploy the software to the clients? Because the network was acually round about 60 clients it would be a lot of running through the buildings if a new version becomes available...
What do think / know?
Best regards from germany
