VirtualBox VM 7.1.0_BETA2 r164448 IPv6 NAT "no route" error

Post by mikest82 »

VirtualBox VM 7.1.0_BETA2 appears to have a bug in the IPv6 with NAT (one of the new features)
IPv4 works fine without any problems.
Host OS: Windows 11
Guest OS: Debian 12 (stable)
I'll try with other guest OS's in a near future and I'll post any updates.

Is it just affecting "ping" or are there also TCP connectivity issues?

TCP, UDP, nothing works.
Virtualbox simply does not foward the packets.
I can ping the default gateway but nothing else.

IPv4 works fine.
