VirtualBox won't capture mouse when being recorded
VirtualBox won't capture mouse when being recorded
I'm trying to record something (I've tried various screen recording software) in a VM VirtualBox guest (7.0.20 r163906) on Windows 10 Pro. Whenever I attempt to do this, the mouse doesn't get captured by the guest. I get the message saying it's getting captured, but it never is... and the mouse stays with the host. If I'm not recording there isn't a problem. So it would seem recording Virtualbox somehow breaks it. Can anyone suggest a fix for this?

Re: VirtualBox won't capture mouse when being recorded
Have you tried using the built-in VM screen recording facility?
- VirtualBox User Manual 7.0,20 Section 4.6.3 (Pages 78-79)
- Use the VirtualBox Virtual Manager > Select VM Name > Settings > Display > Recording Tab to enable and set up.
- With VM Window activated on the VirtualBox Menu Bar select View > Recording to activate/deactivate recording.
- VirtualBox User Manual 7.0,20 Section 4.6.3 (Pages 78-79)
- Use the VirtualBox Virtual Manager > Select VM Name > Settings > Display > Recording Tab to enable and set up.
- With VM Window activated on the VirtualBox Menu Bar select View > Recording to activate/deactivate recording.
