Guest addition fail to install - flickering occasional

I have used VBox many years for Windows 10 and Linux Ubuntu.

Now with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS newly created av VM on host macOS 12.7.5 (Intel) and VBox 7.0.18
the Guest addition does not install properly, but I can run the machine. The irrigation is that the screen
flickers now and then and size of the window for Ubuntu can not stretch over a certain size, then it freeze.

Error message is: kernel moules wer not reloaded; kernel modules and services were not reloaded

I enclose the log-file and appreciate any help.

Please check that you have installed the pre-requisite packages in your guest: https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/UserM ... ions-linux

The log shows your GA install is looking for gcc-12.

Installing gcc-12 helped.
Followed the instruction here using apt-get
