Rocky Linux on Intel MacBook

I downloaded the Rocky Linux ISO

Rocky-8.10-x86_64-dvd1.iso

and checked it against the sha256 checksum.

Now I created a VM with this iso and when I run it I get:

Where could be the problem?

An internet search shows that this is not an unusual issue with Rocky Linux downloads, but the only responses to queries I can find seems to be "Try a different download mirror". There is also a main point for verifying the download checksums you have been given here https://github.com/rocky-linux/checksum ... me-ov-file
