Nice to hear. Thanks for reporting back.

Hang on to your backup for a while though - and if you didn't already do so, then do make sure your MAC address is the same as the old VM, otherwise any additional teeny change to the (virtual) hardware may result in an activation message.

Thanks for another hint. If I got it right this would be the MAC adresses for the 4 network adaptors? If so, old ones and new ones fortunately do not need any change as they are identical already.

That's correct. In fact you only need to match the network adapters which are enabled, but having all four matching is good.
