Hang on to your backup for a while though - and if you didn't already do so, then do make sure your MAC address is the same as the old VM, otherwise any additional teeny change to the (virtual) hardware may result in an activation message.

Thanks for another hint. If I got it right this would be the MAC adresses for the 4 network adaptors? That's correct.
