All: I've seen this issue in many places around the web.
Virtual box Version 7.0.18. on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS
Last year I installed Windows 11 via ISO in the Virtual Box. I paid Microsoft $199 for the product. Now, after several months of not using this system, I need to use it again and when I start the vm I am taken to the Windows logon page where the user id is "vboxuser". I enter "changeme" as the password and it says the password is incorrect. I also tried using my Microsoft account and password, which I know is correct as I just updated it about an hour ago, but the Windows in the VM does not like it.
In another iteration of starting the windows VM at the log in page again I see the user id of "vboxuser" and a message that the password has expired and must be changed. I click ok. I enter "vboxuser" in the Password field and enter new passwords in the new password fields. The system says the user name or password is incorrect.
I think I am out of options here. Do I now need to reinstall Windows in the Virtual Box?
