Just as I am able to disable the VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adaptor on Windows, is there a way to do the same on a Linux Mint or any GNU/Linux or Ubuntu OS?
I ask because it was done to mitigate some conflicts on Windows hosts and it worked well.
How do I disable VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adaptor on a Linux Mint OS?

In the guest Network settings, either uncheck the "Enable Network Adapter" or change its attachment to selection other than host only.
See user manual for details.
