Mouse stops working after keyboard press

Version 7.0.12. Both host and guest are using Windows 10 64 bit. All of the following is happening in the guest.

Every time I press a key on my keyboard, the left mouse button stops working for a few seconds. The middle and right mouse buttons still work properly. Also, I tried turning off mouse integration and the issue persisted. I also tried an external keyboard and my touchpad, same problem.

My Ubuntu VM works fine.

EDIT: I just uninstalled guest additions and it works now, but when I reinstall guest additions, it breaks again.
