Windows 10 - missing left mouse click right after keypress

Left mouse button clicks are ignored for approx 800 msec. right after alphanumeric key is released.
Ctrl/alt/shift, capslock, arrows, home/end/pgup/pgdn, numpad keys are not affected.
Right mouse button is not affected.

Tested VirtualBox versions: 7.0.2 to 7.0.16.
Host is Windows 10 x64.
Tested guests are Windows 7 x64, Windows 10 x64.

Windows 7 guest is OK.

Windows 10 with Guest Additions installed and USB Touchpad/Touchscreen pointing device:
- Versions 7.0.4 to 7.0.16 are affected.
- Version 7.0.2 is OK.

Windows 10 with Guest Additions both installed/not_installed and PS/2 pointing device:
- Versions 7.0.2 to 7.0.16 are affected.
