Guru error

Post by suzukiii »

Hey, I'm trying to run a Ubuntu 22 .04 VM on a M3 macbook. I'm facing a guru error which I cannot seem to find the reason behind. note that im using virtualbox version 7.0.8. I have attached a image of the error message and the logs in a zip file.

Forget about it with 7.0.x - this is not able to run any non-prehistoric OS and hasn't been updated significantly. Keep in mind that running Intel VMs on an ARM CPU is a lot of work...

See 7.0 on Apple M1 / M2 / M3.

You could try with the latest dev snapshots, which have version number 7.0.97 (see test builds).
