Ubuntu Guest, shared clipboard and 100% CPU usage

I am new to VirtualBox. Currently I am running a VirtualBox host under Windows XP Pro with a guest OS installation of Ubuntu. I started to notice that one of my cores on the CPU was continuously running at 100% usage for the VBox process.

Reading the forums I found messages indicating that the shared clipboard might be the culprit so I disabled it as suggested. That did the trick.

My question, or concern is this. The messages I saw were referring to VirtualBox 1.54, I am using the latest and greatest 2.04. I would have thought that this issue may have been resolved by now but apparently it has not.

I wanted to check to see if this is a reported issue and whether or not it has been, or is being, addressed. I can live without the shared clipboard but it is handy enough that I would like to see it fixed. Being a newbie I am not sure how to check if it is currently listed as a bug or not. Anyway I can track or follow (or report if it has not been) this issue?

You can check the Trac bug tracking system you can find on the main site. See the Forum FAQ for a link to it.
You can also use Google to look for the issue; use a site filter to limit the results.

Can you also post the link to your source topic? That would help others who have this issue.
