Hello,
I was wondering that if i use a VM image on my PC does it leave file or data logs or any other files on the original hosts pc?
Reason why i am asking is because i was thinking to start only start using virtual machine only as my daily driver and if i ever sell my PC i could just delete the VM disc from the virtual box and when the person buys my PC, they wouldnt be able to scan the hard drive and see any of my data on the hard drive?
Like my history, files, photo's, video's, etc...
Would there be anyway if at all to recover anything from C drive if i only ever use VM Box disc images, only?
Of course i would obviously have the OS on the pc, but never use anything else on my pc other than VM Box's images.
Thanks
Does a VM leave any data on the host?

When I sell or give away any PC, I reformat the HDD and do a clean install of the OS.
