Now i saw that also the default kernel (non backports) from Debian 12.5 causes problems with guest additions...

SO: Is debian 12.5 not supported for VirtualBox 7.0.4 guest additions?

hmm... maybe that commands are obsolete (??) and the correct command is ONLY (??): " lsmod | grep vboxguest"

What makes you think, modules from a vbox version, released in november 2022 should build against kernels, which was released way later?

lsmod | grep vboxguest give me the expected output as described on https://itslinuxfoss.com/install-virtua ... debian-12/ ... but not that "modprobe ... "-thing as shown on inserted screenshot

What happened when you installed the VirtualBox Guest Additions? For example starting with the VM window's menu Devices > Insert Guest Additions CD image...?

Did you read and understand the whole text given by the installer? If not, please repeat the installation and post the text, and the output of sudo modinfo vboxguest afterwards.

PS: Your commands didn't make much sense, because vboxadd is no kernel module, and the Shared Folder kernel module's basename is vboxsf.

NOT 100% sure there really all is OK, here is a similar issue with Ubunti instead of Debian (which is also Debian in core):

https://askubuntu.com/questions/1499745 ... ed-rc-1908

NOW, i will repeat all steps after GA driver uninstall...

I don't see any unexpected error in your procedure.

PS: In the first Ask Ubuntu thread you provided, all posts are correct except the one with the wrong commands which I already explained to you.
