Hello everyone I want to install Windows XP on a Windows 10 host to use my DKU-5 cable which Windows 10 doesn't recognize it.
VirtualBox it's using same drivers as the host? The cable will be recognized by Windows XP installed on the VirtualBox machine?
I've tried with Windows 7 and it doesn't recognize it.
VirtualBox uses same drivers as the Windows host machine?

Re: VirtualBox uses same drivers as the Windows host machine?
A virtual machine does not use the host's devices directly. It uses its own emulated (virtual) devices.
A vm can only connect to the host or an external network if you have some way to connect the vm's emulated device to a physical network device on the host.
If the host OS does not recognize your device, I can't think of any way to make a vm see it.
