oracle VM virtual box problem

Post by SENNA »

Hi all
I have been using Virtual Box, to run Elsawin which is Vw etc information such as wiring Diagrams, once installed a while ago it has
been fine, until today it says when booting up,
a pop up says one or disks image files are not currently accessable , as a result you will not be able to operate virtual machines that use these files untill they become accessable later ?
Please check or ignore to open the virtual media manager, to see which files are inaccessible ,seleck check and it shows yellow trianle warning English 5.1 old and new - disk1.vdi no info on the size -- --
The storage tab on the main screen shows
Cotroller sata,
Sato port 0 English 5.1 old and new - disk1.vdi (Normal )inaccessible
Sato port 1 optical drive Empty.

Do i have a file missing , does anyone know how to fix,, i have tried a pc restore to a earlier date but no joy, regards

Did you open the virtual file manager? Did you see the yellow triangle? As the message says, this should show you what file is affected and what the problem with the file is.
