I need to install PUM image & the following error prevents further installation.

I've updated the File > Preferences > Default Machine Folder: C:\VirtualBox\VM & I've complete access to this folder. There's 199GB free space on C drive.

Starting the PeopleSoft Environment Setup Process:

Validating User Arguments: [ OK ]
Validating PeopleSoft Supported Platform: [ OK ]

Checking if the VirtualBox Software is Installed on the Windows Host: [ OK ]
Checking if the VirtualBox Default Machine Folder has Enough Free Spac[FAILED]

The VirtualBox default machine folder [C:\VirtualBox\VM] has only 0.0 GB of disk
space available. Please ensure it has at least 150.0 GB of free space to import
a PeopleSoft Appliance (OVA).

Exiting the PeopleSoft environment setup process.

The VirtualBox default machine folder [C:\VirtualBox\VM] does not have enough free space

Exiting the PeopleSoft environment setup process.

PS C:\wecs\setup>

Changing the path to C:\VirtualBox resolved the issue.

I had used a subfolder under VirtualBox earlier - root cause.

Ah, makes sense. Pointing at a non-existing default VM directory means that there's no way to find out how much space there is on this disk. I can see that the symptoms are misleading/confusing.
