Error on start-up: Invalid DMI field header

Hi all,
I'm running Ubuntu 23.10 on VirtualBox 7.0.10 on Windows 11 (HP EliteBook 840 G9, Intel).
During start-up I get this error message. Resetting/rebooting helps sometimes, then Ubuntu starts normally (behavior is inconsistent).

3D acceleration is disabled and VMSVGA chosen as graphics controller.
Any ideas how to resolve this?
