I solved the pb, here is, from memory, how I did it.
I created a new virtual machine called Linux Mint Debian 5 Double. I installed an LMD disk. (not sure if this is necessary)
It works. I can open LMD. It's a basic installation. I close it. I close the VM manager and reopen it with administrator rights. I remove the encryption from Linux Mint Debian 5. I detach its virtual hard disk (vdi). I reopen the VM manager without administrator mode. From it, I move this virtual hard disk into the new VM environment.
I remove the LMD disk. I open it. It works.

I hypothesize that my problem must come from the fact that, after updating the VM manager to administrator mode, I opened a VM in that mode. This should be avoided.
