INSTALLING MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ REDISTRIBUTABLE PACKAGE

Dear All,

I am having trouble downloading the VirtualBox software. I keep getting an error message, when it is trying to install. It says:

" VirtualBox cannot install, because you have not got the 2019 version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package"

I am on a course of Ethical Hacking. This software would allow me to practice on the course. Without it, I am stuck. Would anybody please be able to help me install the above software. Have contacted Microsoft Community, but they seem to have little idea.

Would anybody please help?

Be sure you have the 64-bit version of the distributable.

Also, if you're on Windows 7 or 8 hosts, make sure the SHA256 update is installed.
