Installation problem
Installation problem
Installing VBox on the new host (EndeavorOS/Plasma) I disabled APIC I/O in the virtual machine settings but still had boot issues. Should I turn off 3D acceleration altogether?

Re: Installation problem
What do either of those settings have to do with boot issues? And what are "boot issues" anyway?
All modern OS (less than 20 years old) will require IO-APIC, so please re-enable it. In fact best just start from scratch and do not change any of the defaults.
Then, if the problem continues, please give a precise description and also provide a VM log. Make sure the VM is fully shut down, then right click it in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.
