Install VirtualBox on Ubuntu 23.10

Hi, I'm running VB 7.0.12 on Lubuntu 23.10 (old Sandybridge Macbook)
Also running VB 7.0.12 on Kubuntu 23.10 (recent Alder lake system).

VB it is running fine on both machines.

Note that Lubuntu is Ubuntu with LXQT desktop and Kubuntu is Ubuntu with KDE desktop.
From software point of view, libraries and software, should be the same as if I was running Ubuntu.

So if I gather correctly, you can install Virtualbox on Lubuntu and Kubuntu but not on Ubuntu.

Edit: thanks oso2276 for the information. Looks like Virtualbox will install on Ubuntu 23.10 with different default desktop environments.
