MacBook Pro 9,1 with 16 GB and two 1 TB SATA drives in RAID0
Catalina 10.15.7 running VirtualBox 7.0.12
Booting Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
Installation takes a long, long time to boot up. Green turtle in the tool tray.
Any ideas?

My experience is that the Apple Hypervisor used by VirtualBox 7.0.x in Catalina is very slow. You would see much improved performance if you uninstall VirtualBox 7.0.12 and replace it with VirtualBox 6.1.48
