Thanks for the report. Could you please check if 7.0.x build r162255 from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Testbuilds fixes the problem?

Just tried with the latest testbuild 7.0.x revision 162366, and my machine did not crash again. Seems what you did had an effect.

The next maintenance version of 7.0.x will contain the fix and the revision would be anything greater than or equal to 162255.
