Meditation Guru once VM running

Post by ElMotador89 »

Hello,

I use a Ubuntu 20.02 Virtual Box on a Windows 10 host to run some python script to run through large quantities of emails stored locally and uploaded in the VM's database using a standard LAMP. From time to time (usually after the script has been running for a while), I get the Meditation Guru error which forces me to stop and restart the VM (no problem when starting up again as described in other threads in the forum). I've attached the logs produced during the last run and MG error. Any idea? I've had to truncate the log file, please let me know which part would be useful if not included in the current file.
I'm thinking it might be due to an accumulation in the RAM which at some point gets overloaded by the process.

Thank you for the help!

Thomas

Unfortunately, the part you truncated contained the part that mentioned the guru meditation which we need to see.

Zipped logs almost always fit.

Hey,

There you are, only truncated the middle part which was a lot of the same, let me know if you need it.

Thanks again,

Thomas

Probably not related, but the extension pack version mismatch will not be helping.
00:00:03.063528 VirtualBox VM 7.0.2 r154219 win.amd64 (Oct 19 2022 21:29:26) release log

There have been many bug fixes since the release of 7.0.2, I suggest you upgrade to 7.0.10 (not .12, which has issues). IMO there is little point in us struggling to find bugs that were already found and fixed.

Thanks for this information, I've just updated and will post again if the problem persists.

Hey again,

Unfortunately updating the extension pack to the same version did not seem to change the problem. I've attached the latest logs when a Guru Meditation came up. Any idea what the problem is here?

The logs with the number extensions are the older logs. "Vbox.log" with no added number extension is the latest log.

Neither of the zipped logs show a guru meditation and both still have the Extension Pack mismatch.

Please try again.
