virtualbox.org

Hi - I've been using Virtualbox for several months and set up dozens of VMs with no problem... But I just can't seem to get Ubuntu 8.1 to install... it just seems to hang up a couple of minutes after beginning the install.. the same happens with Kubuntu 8.1..??
..any ideas?

I'm running Virtualbox version 2.0.0 on an up-to-date version of Vista Ultimate

Virtualbox 2.0.0 was quite buggy, so I advice to move to 2.0.4. I have installed Ubuntu 8.10 inside Virtualbox 2.0.4 on Windows XP with no problem. Also from change log of 2.0.4 version http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Changelog
there is note: "Linux additions support Ubuntu 8.10".

Virtualbox 2.0.0 was released before Ubuntu 8.10 so it is quite logical that this version of Ubuntu isn't supported in 2.0.0. version. Move one to new version with VirtualBox.
