I am running kali linux and want to create a fake wifi. For this to work there should be a wlan when I run ip a in a terminal but that doesn't happen. Everyone tells me I don't have a wifi adapter but I have a RTL8822CE 802.11ac PCIe. I think there is something wrong with my network settings please help me.

All of the network adapters presented to the VM by Virtualbox are wired Ethernet adapters. Virtualbox doesn't have any virtual Wi-Fi adapters.
If you want a Wi-Fi adapter in the VM OS, you'll need to get a USB Wi-Fi adapter, then use Virtualbox's USB Filters to inject the USB adapter into the VM. See USB basics and troubleshooting
