Can't record with VBox 6.1

I'm creating a series of training videos, and I need to record both the content of the virtual machine guest and the Virtual Box manager in the same video.

I am on Windows 10, and have been recording these videos with Camtasia, and I had no problems till I upgraded to VBox 6.1. Now, whenever I attempt to record a video, the mouse/keyboard capture doesn't work properly. I'll click the guest and receive the popup message, but when I click "capture", the virtual machine guest will not assume control of the mouse/keyboard and they stays with the host. I've attempted to record with OBS but it still has the same problem. Which makes me think something about VirtualBox is the problem.

Because I need to record what happens with the VirtualBox manager as well the virtual guest, the built-in VBox recording isn't the best solution. Does anyone have any ideas what's causing this or how to fix it?
