Hi all, first post so hopefully this is allowed etc! I'm a bit of a VB noob too so go easy on me...
I'm trying to boot a VM I've had for a year or so, never had a problem before though I've not used it for a couple of months. When trying to launch I get a "Guru meditation" message saying "A critical error has occurred while running this virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped. "
I've attached the log below. Any ideas what might be at fault? I really don't want to lose this VM...
Thanks in advance!

You are giving the VM RAM you do not have.
You need to monitor your RAM usage on this host, and/or reduce VM RAM allocation to 4096MB.00:00:01.759939 Host RAM: 16384MB (16.0GB) total, 5403MB (5.2GB) available
...
00:00:01.908186 RamSize <integer> = 0x0000000200000000 (8 589 934 592, 8.0 GiB)

Thanks for the reply - I've tried lowering to the value you suggested but I get the same error.
From the log following RAM change:

Did you by chance use Open Core Legacy Patcher to get Ventura on your Mac?

You should use VirtualBox 7.0.10 (or newer) on macOS Ventura 13.3 (or newer).
