Linux Host not gracefully shutting down Windows Guest

Post by brandnewbryce »

I have been attempting to get my Linux host to succsesfully shutdown my windows Guest. The Guest Windows SS 22 is showing critical events in event viewer that power is pulled from the machine. I have written a script in init.d and updated but the problem persists. I am usiong source material from 8 years ago, so perhaps in VBox 7 there is an updated way to do this?

If possible, can someone please assit, or write up an example script for init.d to run tro have this function happen on reboot/reset.

Unfortunately my team of hackers couldn't get into your PC to read that script, so you're going to have to post it so we can see what you're doing.
