Critical Error when trying to launch Virtual Box on Ventura

Post by FerrousIron »

Hello, I'm trying to use a virtual machine to emulate Windows, on a Mac. I keep getting a critical error each time I try to launch either Windows 11 or 10, on the virtual machine. I always see the Windows logo, but after some time it eventually fails. I'm not sure exactly what's causing this, but I've already spent a couple hours troubleshooting it, so I'm asking for help. I'm very new to virtual machines, so please forgive my ignorance.

I've attached the log for reference, thank you.

00:00:00.598201 VirtualBox VM 7.0.8_BETA4 r156879 darwin.arm64 (Apr 17 2023 18:33:44) release log
That'll be an M1/M2 Mac, Please see M1/M2 Mac 7.0 Beta Status.
XP is the latest Windows OS reported working on the M1/M2 beta. More modern Windows won't run. Similar limits in Linux.
