GUEST as DEFAULT Gateway

Post by marKo »

Hi all,

I'm a newbie to Virtualization.

Consider the following:
Windows XP as HOST
Linux (any distribution - Ubuntu, OpenSuse...) as GUEST

HOST (winXp) has the GUEST (Linux) has default gateway.
GUEST is the only connected to the internet so that iptables on guest can apply filtering rules on traffic coming from host too.

Is it possible to do so in some ways?

Thanks in advance
