Problem with top bar drop-down menu

I use Ubuntu Mate 22.04 LTS the previous version has the same problem). When I open a full-screen Virtualbox machine, the drop-down menus of the top bar remain hopelessly blocked. The only solution is to iconize the virtual machine and then use the aforementioned menus. In versions prior to (if I remember correctly) 6.1.32 this did not happen. Can you fix it? Solutions?
