Hello,
I am trying to get the mess that is virtualbox to do it's job.
I managed to create a ew virtual machine and somehow get the windows 10 21h1 iso to run and installed the system.

After all that and afzter having to hear that speech usage program cortana noone uses ever,
the system is properly installed.

Now I wanna move stuff between host and guest system.
which seems to be an unspeakable act agaisnt god according to oracle or otherwise ucha dsimple thing wouldnt be hidden behind tons of issues.
I got myself that guestadditions iso (the 7.0 version), got it somehow on the guest machine, ran that isntallation process again and again, each time afterwars restrting the guest system so it can install fully.

Also under machines I set copy and paste and shared folders both to bidirectional.

no idea what else to do.
but whenever I copy something on the host system, I cant paste it on the guest system.
right click's "paste" option is also greyed out.

Also have a shared folder placed in the vm's settings, but no idea where on the guest system that can be found.
if it even is there, given that copy and paste also doesnt work despite everything set and installed....

Can someone please me with this mess here?
but host and guest system are windows 10.

First off, you have to proofread. There's so many typos in your post, it's messier than what you think Virtualbox is.

Second, 7.0 is the Beta and may have bugs in it. 6.1.38 is the latest official release, see https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads. If you had installed 7.0, uninstall it and use 6.1.38 instead. You'll need time to get used to Virtualbox without the complications of the Beta.

Third, for some time only text could be copied on the clipboard. There was an effort to allow files to be copied, but it may have got turned off due to bugs. I don't know the status of this setup at this time. Safe to say, only copy text using the shared clipboard. Files can be shared between host and VM using Virtualbox Shared Folders, see the manual section 4.3.

Start the VM from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the VM from within the VM's OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.

Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
