Re: W11 event shows TPM errors
Confirming, there are tons of errors (last hour: 417, and that's for like 15 minutes):
417 of "The initialization of the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) failed. The TPM may be in failure mode. To allow diagnosis, contact the TPM manufacturer with the attached information."
15 of "The device driver for the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) encountered a non-recoverable error in the TPM hardware, which prevents TPM services (such as data encryption) from being used. For further help, please contact the computer manufacturer."

Re: W11 event shows TPM errors
This is reproducible in Beta 2.
Re: W11 event shows TPM errors
This should be fixed with the next Beta, thanks for the report.
Re: W11 event shows TPM errors
Thank the dev team for taking the time to fix this.

Re: W11 event shows TPM errors
One of the errors has been fixed, the other hasn't:
In Beta 3 for Windows 11 22H2.
Each cold boot/reboot produces six of such errors:
EventID 15, "The device driver for the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) encountered a non-recoverable error in the TPM hardware, which prevents TPM services (such as data encryption) from being used. For further help, please contact the computer manufacturer".

Re: W11 event shows TPM errors
Try it and let us know. You can always go back to the previous VB version if you kept the files.
Re: W11 event shows TPM errors
In my test of BETA3 (just before it became publicly available) I saw no yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager (and the TPM was showing up there as expected). This was with a Windows 10 21H2 VM. Didn't test if using the TPM actually works.
Re: W11 event shows TPM errors
some checks inside vm indicate TPM is ok yet a couple indicate its not fully functional and has error , is TPM feature "Attestation" supported as indicated below ? , my real metal intel pc's show "Attestation Ready" but my vm shows "Not Supported" under VB 7.0.0 and Win 10 21H2 OS Build 19044.2130
Some checks make TPM look ok:
- device manager says TPM 2.0 is ok
- tpm.msc says device is ready
- windows 11 upgrade checker says TPM ok
BUT
- event logging of error eventid 15 [ non-recoverable error in the TPM hardware ] continues, generating about 6 of these eventids at once on some sort of schedule where elapsed time between the events is divisible by 15 minutes
AND
- Windows Security->Device security->Security processor shows Attestation feature of TPM isnt functional
Attestation Not Supported
Storage Ready
- Windows Security->Device security->Security processor->Troubleshooting displays error "Can't get TPM information. Contact your device manufacturer."
ALSO
dont want to throw to much into the mix yet, but I did change the disk from MBR to GPT before getting TPM/EFI/Secure boot to work else it would shell out in EFI , now that these are working ( according to msinfo32 ) I cant seem to get back into EFI to view things using the ESC key ...
If "Attestation" is suppose to work then I have an issue, if its suppose to be not supported maybe I just dont worry about it , just dont want to upgrade to win 11 and then get BSOD or glitches rather fix it now
thank you in advance

I see exactly the same as @randymca.
Windows 11 22H2 guest (upgraded from Windows 10).
